The Apps Land (“we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes multiple Android applications on Google Play, including navigation tools (e.g., GPS Live World Satellite Maps, Offline GPS Map & Route Finder, Live GPS Satellite View Maps), utilities (e.g., My Notes: Diary & Notepad, Advance QR Scanner & Generator, Pix Art: Photo Editor & Effects), and other apps (e.g., Text to AI Video Generator). This Privacy Policy explains our account-wide practices across all apps in this developer account. Per-app Play Store “Data safety” disclosures still apply for each specific title/version. Google Play

Several of our current Play listings show “No data collected,” with security notes like “Data is encrypted in transit” and, for some titles, “You can request that data be deleted.” Those disclosures are provided in Play Console and may vary by app/version. Google Play+2Google Play+2

We also align this policy with the structure of our existing published privacy page. Google Sites

1) What data we may process

Because our portfolio spans maps/navigation, media/utilities, and creative tools, the actual data used depends on the app’s features and your choices. Typical categories are:

  • Location (navigation apps only, permission-based): Precise or approximate location to show your position, calculate routes, nearby places/traffic, or render map tiles. We do not keep a location history on our own servers. Mapping SDKs (e.g., Mapbox) may receive location signals after you grant permission. (See the app’s own “Data safety” card for the current status.) Google Play+1
  • App diagnostics & crash data: Limited device/OS metadata and stack traces to fix stability issues (e.g., via Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Usage analytics (aggregated): Events like first opens, active users, device models/OS versions to improve features and reliability (e.g., via Firebase Analytics).
  • Advertising data (ad-supported apps): Signals required to serve, cap, and measure ads; ad personalization depends on your region and consent (e.g., via AdMob).
  • Camera, photos, media, files (utilities/creative tools): If a feature requires camera/gallery access (e.g., QR scanner or photo editor) or local file access (e.g., notes export), processing typically occurs on your device; we don’t upload your personal content to our servers unless a feature explicitly states otherwise. Our current public policy also emphasizes on-device handling for storage/media. Google Sites
  • Network information: To check connectivity, download map tiles, or fetch public content (e.g., traffic, images), as needed by the feature.

No mandatory login: Our listed apps do not require you to create an account to use core features. (Check each app’s Play page for up-to-date details.) Google Play

2) Why we use data

  • Provide core functionality: e.g., show your location on a map, compute routes, render tiles/traffic (navigation); scan codes or edit photos (utilities); generate creative outputs. Google Play
  • Maintain and improve apps: diagnose crashes, measure reliability, prevent abuse.
  • Support a free experience: show ads (where applicable).

3) Third-party services we use (not every app uses every SDK)

4) Data sharing

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We share data only with the service providers above to operate app features (maps, analytics, crash reporting, ads) and where required by law.

5) Data storage & retention

  • We do not store your location history or your personal files/content on our own servers.
  • Third-party providers may retain limited data under their policies (e.g., crash logs, aggregated analytics). See the links above for specifics.

6) Legal bases (where applicable)

  • Consent: location access, analytics/ads where regional laws require consent (e.g., EEA/UK).
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, quality and reliability.
  • Contract/performance: delivering requested features (e.g., route calculation, scanning).

7) Your choices & controls

  • Android permissions: Grant/deny permissions (Location, Camera, Photos/Media, Notifications, etc.) anytime in device settings. Some features may not work without the related permission.
  • Ads & consent: Where required, our apps present a consent dialog for ad personalization. You can adjust ad personalization in Google settings as well.
  • Analytics/Crash reporting: Where supported, we respect app-level or OS-level controls to limit analytics or crash reporting.
  • Uninstall/clear data: You can clear app data or uninstall to remove data stored on your device.
  • Per-app Data safety: Check each app’s Play page for the current collection/sharing status; several of our titles currently state No data collected and some indicate You can request that data be deleted. Google Play+1

8) Children’s privacy

Our apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9) International transfers

Our service providers (e.g., Google/Firebase, Mapbox) may process data on servers outside your country. They describe applicable safeguards in their privacy policies (links above).

10) Security

We use industry-standard measures and reputable SDKs/cloud providers. No method is 100% secure, but we continuously work to enhance protections.

11) Your rights & how to request deletion/access

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing.

Contact us (primary route)

Email support@theappsland.com with:

  • The app name (from our Play listing),
  • Your country/region, and
  • Your request (e.g., Delete my data, Access my data).

Where a third-party provider acts on our behalf (e.g., crash logs or analytics), we will coordinate with that provider as the data controller for our apps.

Request deletion/controls with providers (if applicable to your data)

You can also revoke Android permissions (e.g., Location, Camera) in system settings to stop access immediately and clear app data to remove data stored locally. Several of our titles also indicate You can request that data be deleted in the Play “Data safety” section. Google Play+1

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps or laws change. We’ll update the Effective date above and may add an in-app notice for material changes.
